Incorporation of Olivetti Office Equipment Corporation which was later named Business Machines Corporation, established in the Philippines by its founder, Mr. Claude M. Wilson.
1957
Change name from Olivetti Office Equipment Corporation to BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATION (BISMAC) to accommodate other product lines and provide solutions to growing needs of the market.
1960
This is a sculpture by Napoleon Abueva made for Bismac in the early 60's. Posing with the work of art are Isabel Caro Wilson, the wife of Bismac's founder, with the spouse of a representative of Olivetti from Italy.
1964
Appointed as the Exclusive Distributor of DIEBOLD, INC. of USA for its Vault doors, Safe Deposit Boxes and other Modular Bank Counter Equipment.
1974
Appointed as the Exclusive Distributor of DE LA RUE of UK for its Banking Equipment.
1975
Appointed as the Exclusive Distributor if TRIUMPH-ADLER VERTRIEBS-GmbH of Germany for its Portable, Standard, and Electric Typewriter.
1976
Appointed as the Exclusive Distributor of CANON for its Microfilm Systems.
1977
BISMAC was chosen “Adler workshop of 1976” from over 100 agents worldwide by Triumph-Adler Vertriebs-GmbH of Germany.
1978
BISMAC was chosen again for the 2nd time chosen “Adler workshop of 1976” by Triumph-Adler Vertriebs-GmbH of Germany.
1983
Appointed as the Exclusive Distributor of TOKYO ELECTRIC (TEC) now known as TOSHIBA TEC for its Cash Register, Barcode Printers, Scales and Scanners.
1983
Appointed as the Exclusive Distributor of HASLER LTD for Franking Machines.
1985
Appointed as the Exclusive Distributor of FACIT for Manual & Electric Typewriters and Calculators.
1998
Appointed as the Exclusive Distributor of JAPAN CASH MACHINE (JCM) for its Coin Counting Machines and Dollar Counterfeit Detector.
1999
Launched the RETAIL PLUS Cashiering System.

Launched the company’s very own BISPOS for POS Touch Screen and POS Terminals; BISCAL for Calculator; BMC for Banking Equipment.

BISMAC prides itself in having well trained technicians and carrying a wide inventory of spare parts. Customers can select from a variety if office machines ranging from simple stand-alone models, to full networked systems.
Currently, BISMAC is working on positioning the company as a total solution provider for their customers. Their customers tell them what they need and BISMAC will make it happen for them so they can concentrate on their business.
They are also working on expanding the brands that they will service. Their 7 branches nationwide are strategically located and with over 70 technical engineers employed by BISMAC, and it only makes sense that BISMAC makes full use of their service centers.
