Features Description
· User level password (manager, supervisor, cashier, etc.) with user rights for each level - The software is protected by a user level password that will determine which rights will be granted to a specified user.
· Unlimited PLU capability - Retail IMS can handle unlimited number of PLUs and will be limited only by disk space available on the hard disk.
· Long and short PLU description for easy identification of items - Each PLU can maintain a long and short description. The long description is used for a more efficient product identification while the short description is used on receipt printing.
· Group PLU price change capability (by amount or percentage) - The user has the option to change prices grouped by Supplier, Department, PLU and either by percentage or fixed amount.
· Includes min/max entry to determine Reorder Levels of each item - The software prompts the user whenever a minimum level is reached which needs to be reordered.
· Transfer stocks between stores and warehouses - Supports inter-store or inter-branch stock transfer.
· Tracks expiration data of an item using FIFO method - Prompts the user whenever an item is about to expire on a certain date.
· Includes Duplicate Product Name Window that can detect identical product names - This window shows all item(s) with identical product name(s).
· Real Time and Batch processing updates of front-end terminals - Inventory monitoring is done by Real Time while database updates of front-end terminals is done by Batch processing.
· Posting of inventory can be done daily, weekly or monthly - User has done option to do daily, weekly or monthly inventory.
